Election Week Newsletter

We would like to express our gratitude!

Thank you for your continued support of the Mike Jones Delegate Campaign for District 77. Your presence in our community has helped to amplify Jones’ message. We, as a campaign, not only acknowledge your support but also challenge you all to hold us to your standard of an ideal elected official this past campaign season. This newsletter will hopefully serve as a reminder of all that Councilman Jones has accomplished during this campaign season, and persuade you to vote for him as your District 77 representative.

To promote economic well-being and education amongst city residents, Councilman Mike Jones has been proud to bring resources to his community, such as a Job Readiness Fair to Richmond City and Chesterfield, along with various Canvas Launches. The Job Readiness Fair was helpful for those who wanted help establishing a career path or for those who were seeking a change in their current one. We hoped to provide a welcoming space for networking to flourish and resources to be shared to ensure that everyone leaves this event more informed, confident, and optimistic. On the other hand, the Canvas Launches served as a space for volunteers to connect while getting the word out about the Mike Jones for Delegate campaign. Through knocking on doors and conversing with potential voters, our campaign was able to get to know the voters of District 77.

Additionally, Councilman Mike Jones hosted community office hours throughout this entire campaign season to serve as another resource for his constituents. Our goal was to provide a Meet and Greet for the community and to create an opportunity to get to know Councilman Jones. We hope that these community office hours helped every one of you to a solid support system within your elected officials.

Lastly, Councilman Mike Jones finished out this election season by hosting a Farm to Table dinner. At this event we discussed how the city of Richmond needs to become more environmentally friendly, to allow us to become a model city for other areas within the US.

As we work towards turning the House Blue on November 7th, 2023, we encourage you all to vote for Councilman Mike Jones for your District 77 representative. Questions concerning where your voting center is located can be found here

If you have any further questions, or would like to refresh your memory on all that Councilman Mike Jones has to offer, please feel free to check out our website in its entirety.
